Sarina has a BS in Electrical Engineering (EE) and a Minor in Spanish from USC, and is currently working on her Master’s degree in EE at Stanford University. She has experience with tutoring at her undergraduate college, and is very passionate about helping students both enjoy and succeed in their education (STEM and non-STEM). Sarina also has a 3rd degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, and has spent many years teaching students (of all ages), self-defense and martial arts at her local Pleasanton studio. She is experienced in Mathematics and Physics from her college coursework and various internships at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) and Sandia National Labs. Due to her well-rounded background, she can also tutor in Spanish and Reading/Writing. She also has extensive experience in the college applications process—having been through it herself multiple times and having helped friends/siblings. In her free time, Sarina enjoys cooking and exploring new cuisines, painting, and writing poetry. She also enjoys home-improvement projects and building remote-controlled aircrafts with her friends.
